Paula joined Penacook Place in 2018 and serves as the senior leader for the facility. She also is a registered nurse. Paula has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University and is working toward completing a master’s degree in Health Care Administration, also at SNHU. Most recently, Paula served as Executive Director for Genesis Healthcare’s Palm Center for Rehabilitation Excellence in Chelmsford, Mass., where she oversaw operations for the 118-bed facility and its 180-person staff. Prior to that, she held the same role at Kindred Transitional Care in Dedham, Mass.
Joe currently serves as the Director of Support Operations at Mary Immaculate Nursing Home in Lawrence. Joe has been with Mary Immaculate for over 29 years. At the facility, Joe oversees purchasing for the nursing department as well as monitoring budgets and managing their inventory. Joe also is the Safety Officer for the facility. In this role, Joe ensures that the facility is in compliance with all local, state and federal regulations. Joe implemented the Hazard Communication Program at the facility in compliance with OSHA. Joe conducts regular in-service education programs for all staff on a regular basis.
Maureen attended Simmons College for her undergraduate and doctoral degrees in Physical Therapy and Salem State University for a Master’s Degree in Education. She is licensed in Massachusetts as both a nursing home administrator and physical therapist. Her career in sub-acute and long-term care spans over 35 years. Prior to joining Hathorne Hill, Maureen was a Vice President of Education and Development for a large nursing home company. She has a passion for implementing programs that improve quality of care, focus on person centered care and facilitate safe transitions across the continuum of care. She is a member of the Massachusetts Fall Prevention Coalition and a Certified Dementia Practitioner. In 2016, she was recognized by National Council of Dementia Practitioners as a Distinguished Educator.
