Long-Term Care

Long-Term Care Facilities offer a range of services for personal care services. They provide a variety of services, both medical and personal care, for people who need support in their daily lives.

These facilities include nursing homes, skilled nursing facilities, and assisted living facilities.  In the event of an emergency, LTC facilities are organized through the Massachusetts Mutual Aid Plan (MassMAP), which establishes a course of coordinated actions between participating facilities to assist each other as needed. The Region 3 Mass MAP Long Term Care Coordinating Center is located at The Brudnick Center for Living, in Peabody, MA

In Region 3, there are 205 Nursing Homes and 104 Assisted Living and Rest Homes at last count.
